Caulking: Caulking is important in sealing your home from water and its damaging effects. Cracked caulking can allow water to seep into underlying wood. The result: Rotted window frames, window sills, and molding. Our exterior painting includes replacment of caulking where required.
Glazing: Like caulk, window glazing is important in protecting windows from water damage. Damaged or missing window glazing can also cause drafts and loss of heating or cooling. Our exterior painting includes replacement of window glazing where required.
Peeling Paint: Peeling paint may be caused for several reasons, including improper priming of the bare wood before painting. Our exterior painting includes scraping away old loose paint and applying a primer to bare wood prior to painting.
Mold: Mold on soffits, trim, windows, and siding is inevitable in the hot humid climate of the south. Left unchecked, mold growth can have deleterious effects on paint systems. Our exterior painting includes pressure-washing with detergent and bleach to kill mold and remove dirt from surfaces to be painted.
